Call your senators and tell them to support Senator Bernie Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to Block $20 Billion of arms sales to Israel
As the one-year anniversary of Israel's Genocide in Gaza approaches and the devastation extends to Lebanon and beyond, the time to take action is NOW!
Senator Sanders has introduced joint resolutions of disapproval to block $20 billion of arms sales to Israel. Israel uses US arms in violation of both US and International law. As health workers, we call on everyone to support an end of arms sales to Israel. The Sanders' resolution is a good start:
"The Netanyahu government has systematically devastated the healthcare system in Gaza, knocking 19 hospitals out of service and killing more than 800 healthcare workers. The World Health Organization has recorded thousands of attacks on healthcare facilities. Not surprisingly, with the collapse of the healthcare system under this strain, diseases like hepatitis, dysentery, polio, and other infections have taken hold."
